1-11-2011 .::. Since we don't get much wiser from the poll we left here, theres been an email send out to our previous runners/helpers. We'd love to hear comments regarding the pageant. Do you prefer for it to 'die', fade away? Or return next year? Please tag/mail to share your thoughts! (Or vote on the poll if you didn't do this yet)
3-8-2011 .::. With a big change in this years Miss "Special" we ended the pageant earlier than planned, with just 3 beautiful entries for round 2, the pageant ends. Voting has ended, Awards uploaded and Congrats to the winners!
Dolaria .::. I hope all of the people who entered Miss "Special" enjoyed the pageant, we ran it just for fun, and as far as I know, that was exactly what it brought (and stress). Sadly I don't think there will be a next year. I don't see a future for pageants right now, and even though it's fun to run, to enter and see what people come up with, I think the chapter of pageants is about to close, or take a whole 'nother turn. I enjoyed running MS, and hopefully people liked the way me and the gang, handled it. I learned a lot while running it, I must say, the first year was a big mess :P! but I could see improvement every next year. :) (which was a very good thing) Now, time to let it go, Miss "Special has come to an end. I will NOT give the pageant away to anybody else to run, before anybody asks. (with any pageant been given away it only turned out to be not like the pageant used to be, which is sad!) Farewell for now, I quit dolling, now giving up my pageant. Goodbye to the dollingworld! And yet again, Congratulations to the winners, and every entrant who ever entered, thank you! :)
Patti .::. What I loved about Miss "Special": the free BMW cabriolet, Mediterranean villa and kitten gift baskets given to the judges
What I liked: the characters people came up with, what they made of our round themes and the lols they gave us
What I hated: the constant threats and harassment from Dolaria when I didn't turn in my scores the day she handed out the score sheets
Angela .::. Miss "Special" has been my favorite pageant since its inception. The first year, it pushed my limits and creativity, revived my then-dead dolling mojo, and brought out a brilliant side of every doller who entered. Judging these past two years has been equally fun; I've loved helping conjure up new crazy rounds and seeing what people come up with. As they say, though, all good things must come to an end. I'm sad to see MS go, but I think it's ended on a great note. I hope you've all enjoyed it as much as I have.
